If you have children under 2 or if a place is available, you will be redirected to aa.com. Once you have your boarding pass, you can scan the barcode at security and at the gate.
American Airlines Flying With Children
American Airlines accepts children over 2 years old. If you are traveling with an infant less than 7 days old, your doctor will need to complete a passenger health form. Children must be accompanied by an adult over 16 years old. Children under 2 must be accompanied by an adult over 16. All large carriers are equipped with toilets with changing rooms.

Basic Economy passengers are entitled to 1 personal item. Items should be small enough to fit under the seat. Product dimensions should not exceed 18x14x8 inches (45x35x20 cm). All other baggage must also be checked. Each passenger is allowed one piece of luggage.
The maximum weight of the hands must not exceed:
22 x 14 x 9 in / 56 x 36 x 23 cm x 23 cm with handle
Baggage dimensions must match airport baggage dimensions.
